I recognize that a strong, diverse, well qualified, and sustainable nursing workforce is a key contributor to health for communities and populations. As a Registered Nurse, I know the impact of nursing knowledge and care on individuals and families. I serve on the Board of The Connecticut Center for Nursing Workforce (CCNW) because it brings a committed voice and action to healthcare through nurses and nurse leadership. CCNW is a driving force in Connecticut and nationally for nursing workforce education innovations, to understanding nursing workforce data, and to using those data to develop a sustainable nursing pipeline for the future. I am committed to healthcare. I am committed to the nursing workforce. I am committed to CCNW and that is why I am honored to serve on the Board of Directors.
