CCNW has been an active collaborator on many projects with the Workforce Development Boards in Connecticut over the past (15) years; and in January 2023, CCNW was notified that we will continue our 12-year relationship with The Workplace, Inc. one of the five regional workforce development boards in Connecticut. 
 
In this role, CCNW provides CORE Skills and Customer Service Training to Connecticut residents seeking to enter the healthcare workforce.  Due to funding received in January 2023 from the State, The Workplace, Inc. will scale these activities on a statewide basis utilizing their successful Health CareeRx Academy model.  Our expert nurses will continue to teach these online courses to over (425) candidates each year, and the CCNW will be funded up to $250,000 for our work!
