Full-Time Nurse Faculty Preparation Course100% online & faculty-led
This 6- week interactive course supports schools of nursing to accelerate the onboarding of new nurses and novice faculty to become successful in the full-time nurse faculty role; and is intended for clinical educators and nurses enrolled in a master's, DNP, or PhD nursing program interested in attaining a full-time faculty role. The participant will benefit by expanding their knowledge of teaching methodology, student evaluation, and curriculum development; as well as, learn evidence-based innovative strategies to foster active engagement, promote critical thinking, and develop clinical competencies for students. Six hours of LIVE Coaching will compliment this education throughout the first semester of teaching. Participants will earn 60 contact hours upon successful completion of the Course. Part-Time Clinical Nurse Faculty Preparation Course100% online & faculty-led
This 3-week interactive course supports schools of nursing to accelerate the onboarding of nurses to become successful in the part-time Clinical Nurse Faculty role and is intended for the novice clinical educators or anyone wanting to become clinical faculty. The participant will gain knowledge to "hit the ground running" and meet the demands within today's healthcare settings by providing "nuts and bolts" in developing teaching and evaluating skills for new educators. Participants will earn 30 contact hours upon successful completion of the Course. Educational Advancement

RN Refresher Course100% online & faculty-led
This 16-week four-module interactive course is facilitated by exemplar faculty who are members of the CCNW. The course is designed for inactive licensed nurses who wish to return to staff level positions on general medical-surgical units of hospitals, long-term care facilities, home care and other health care agencies after being away from practice for three to five years or more. In addition, participants may be unlicensed nurses wishing to reinstate their nursing license. Participants will earn 90 contact hours upon successful completion of the Course. |
Population Health Course100% online and Self-Paced
This FREE 4-module "Introduction to Population Health Course" provides an overview of the Population Health framework and its impact on practice, the healthcare delivery system, and direct patient care. It serves as a primer for nurses, nursing students, and other healthcare providers to understand available resources to support continued learning to inform their knowledge and practice. This Course developed in partnership with the Connecticut Nursing Collaborative-Action Coalition and the Connecticut Center for Nursing Workforce, Inc. (formally Connecticut League for Nursing), under a grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. |

This Annual Webinar Series explores numerous hot topics impacting nurses in practice and academe facilitated by state and national experts. Participants earn 1 contact hour upon their LIVE participation and execution of the webinar evaluation for each webinar attended. |
