Submission Categories

Posters should align with one or more of the following focus areas:

• Nursing Education & Faculty Development – Innovations in curriculum, clinical education, and faculty recruitment & retention.
• Workforce Pipeline & Career Pathways – Programs, partnerships, and initiatives supporting entry into and advancement within the nursing profession.
• Fairness, Access, Inclusion, and Representation in Nursing – Strategies to promote a more equitable and representative workforce.
• Retention & Workplace Well-Being – Solutions for improving nurse retention, resilience, and overall workplace culture.
• Healthcare Innovation & Technology – The impact of emerging technologies, simulation, and digital health tools on the nursing workforce.

Submission Guidelines

• Eligibility: Open to students, faculty, clinicians, researchers, and workforce leaders.
• Format: Posters should be 36” x 48” and visually engaging.
• Abstract Requirements: Submissions must include a title, author(s) and affiliations, 200-250 word abstract, and category selection.
• Submission Deadline: March 13, 2025
• Submission Process: Submit your abstract to [email protected]
• Review & Selection: Posters will be reviewed based on relevance, originality, clarity, and impact. Accepted presenters will receive notification by March 27, 2025.

Presentation Details

Posters will be displayed throughout the Summit, with dedicated presentation times for authors to engage with attendees.

• At least one author must register for and attend the summit to present their poster.

We encourage submissions that showcase innovative approaches and research that can positively influence Connecticut’s nursing workforce.
