Quinnipiac University Job Description Quinnipiac University invites applications for two Clinical Coordinator Associates. These positions are integral members of the clinical placement team within the School of Nursing and report directly to the School of Nursing Associate Dean. The clinical placement team as a whole is responsible for managing the clinical placements for each of the clinical programs offered at the baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels within the School of Nursing. The Clinical Coordinator Associates closely collaborate with Deans, Chairs, Program Directors, and Faculty while planning, implementing, and evaluating the clinical learning opportunities within each of the programs in the School of Nursing. Strong oral and written communications skills are required as the Clinical Coordinator Associates are responsible for communications with students, full-time and part-time faculty, faculty and staff members from other schools at QU, and external stakeholders such as partner healthcare and professional organizations. Other key abilities include strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, ability to work both independently, strong collaboration and negotiation skills, customer service mindset, proficient use of computer and database type software, problem solving, and ability to work under pressure in order to meet critical deadlines.

Under the direction of the new, dynamic Dean, you will assist with the administration, operation, promotion and evaluation of programs, personnel and budgetary matters. As the Associate Dean, you will oversee the development, implementation, and revision of academic programs, along with the related policies and procedures. You will provide direction, leadership, and management of the College, faculty and staff, fostering an environment of inclusion and building consensus; support strategic goal setting to achieve college initiatives; oversee the Academic Standing process; ensure compliance with accreditation-based Comprehensive Evaluation Plans; and spearhead the changes required by AACN Essentials revisions. Additional responsibilities include compiling and analyzing data related to the operation of the College, and preparing reports, and gathering information and materials requested by the Dean. This is a unique, full-time administrative position with no teaching responsibilities. |
