Liz Salsedo is an Experienced Business Executive with close to 20 years of expertise in the legal technology field. Liz is the current Director of Knowledge Management and Information Resources at Robinson+Cole, an AmLaw 200 law firm.  Prior to her current role, she practiced law and spent 15 years at Thomson Reuters (TR). During her time at TR she consulted with large law firms throughout the East Coast, leveraging AI solutions to enhance operational efficiency and optimize legal processes. Liz was recognized for delivering consistent achievement, outstanding performance, and fostering long-term client relationships in the dynamic legal landscape. In addition to her law degree, she holds a Master’s in Law Firm Management and a Legal Lean Sigma Yellow Belt certification, demonstrating proficiency in applying lean principles to drive continuous improvement within legal environments. She is on the Connecticut Bar Association committee on AI as well as the CT Courts Committee on AI and enjoys talking with anyone who will listen about the potential benefits and risks of AI.

Ctrl+Alt+Nurse: Innovating Nursing Education with AI Conference

The Connecticut Center for Nursing Workforce (CCNW) is pleased to announce a call for abstracts for the Ctrl+Alt+Nurse: Innovating Nursing Education with AI Conference, scheduled for May 23, 2025 at Southern Connecticut State University. This Conference will explore the transformative role of artificial intelligence (AI) in nursing education, workforce development, and clinical practice. We invite educators, researchers, healthcare professionals, and students to submit abstracts that showcase innovative AI applications and research that impact nursing education.

Submission Categories

Abstracts should align with one or more of the following focus areas:

• AI-Driven Curriculum Development – Integrating AI into nursing education to enhance learning outcomes.
• Simulation & Virtual Learning – Use of AI in simulation-based training, virtual reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR).
• AI & Clinical Decision Support – Leveraging AI for evidence-based decision-making in nursing practice.
• Ethical & Legal Considerations in AI – Addressing ethical dilemmas, biases, and regulatory challenges in AI-driven education.
• AI and Workforce Development – Preparing the next generation of nurses with AI competencies.

Submission Guidelines

• Eligibility: Open to educators, students, clinicians, researchers, and industry leaders.
• Format: Abstracts should be 250-300 words, including a title, author(s) and affiliations, and selected category.
• Submission Deadline: April 3, 2025
• Submission Process: Submit your abstract to [email protected]
• Review & Selection: Abstracts will be evaluated based on relevance, originality, clarity, and impact. Accepted presenters will be notified by May 1, 2025

Presentation Details

• Accepted abstracts will be presented in poster format during the Conference.
• At least one author must register for and attend the Conference to present their work.
